I kept checking the race calendar on tribc.org, expecting it to appear. Finally I googled it and found out it has been canceled.

I know in 2008 it was canceled because not enough participation. That year I think both Crescent Beach and Self Transcendence were scheduled for the same weekend. Having done both, I can say they are great courses, but the post race pancakes at Crescent are 1000x better. It's would be a shame for it to permanently die.

Brutal. Thanks for the info, my wife is in the Police / Fire Games as an administrator and she was furious when she found out. The discussions had been going on for a while with things falling apart badly as they talked. A real pity. These guys were off in la-la land with their expectations of the race.

I see that Crescent Beach Triathlon isn't listed on the tribc.org Race Calendar for 2010.

Anyone know what is going on?

Due to popular demand one race that wasn't cancelled was the Chilliwack Super Sprint. Next year it should be bigger than ever!! Maybe more than 10 bucks!! I hear Hazmaster is comin back! Cheers Bruce
