OWS - Stop 26 -Windsor -Thursday May 14th 06:30am

Where is this? And what is the plan? I might come to this one because it looks like I'm not going to be available on Friday night now, but I would need to be home in Amherstburg in time for my husband to go to work. It might be a bit of a stretch.

Stop 26 is just east of Sandpoint beach in Windsor.

Sandpoint beach is @ Florence Ave.

Stop 26 is 1 street East @ Clover.

We generally park to the South side of Riverside Drive on Clairview.

Mmm... Goo, zebra mussels, and coliform - how can you resist?

I wouldn't mind trying it out since I'm planning to race the Windsor Tri and should get used to it now. But I don't think I could get home in time for my husband to leave for work.

This will (might) be my first swim there this season.
It may be cancelled though, unless someone else can comfirm they are coming!

Just can't get enough of that goo on the bottom...once and a while you run into a big rock too!
I always either wear fins or water shoes when I swim there just for those reasons. The goo on the bottom is clay (I believe) but there are many areas of zebra mussles.

Should be good tomorrow...there is a good strong south wind moving all the crap out to sea

I did an quick swim at cedar beach this afternoon...some pretty big waves, got slammed to the bottom a couple times when I got too close to the beach. I didn't want to go to far out cause it was just me and my Wife and she was on the beach.
