Subject: dok n sok

Anyone doing the Dok and Sok in Watchung this Sunday? Im kinda on the fence b/c the lake is mostly goose poop with a bit of water underneath.

I too am on the fence, more so now that I read your email AND especially since it is going to be approx 50 degrees Sunday morning. Brr!

I'm in for Sunday as well!  Although a little less excited after reading about the goose poop ....at the very least this will force me to keep my mouth CLOSED when I'm swimming   From what I heard water temps should be high 60's to low 70's, so not tooo chilly.

Im in! Just spoke to the director-  water is absolutely fine - did 3 water tests that passed whatever they had to pass easily. Water should be fine!! Yippee!!!

It was a fun race and I'd love to say that I'll do it again next year, BUT I honestly don't know if I can bring myself to get back in that water again.

I did this race and yes, the water was disgusting, but not too cold.  Great course, but someone took my sneakers!  You can see my full race report.
