Expert  1076   Las Vegas, NV |  Subject: River Mountains Trail - Lake Mead / HendersonTook the RV and stayed at Lake mead for the wekeend with the family. Discovered the River Mountains trail bike path. You guys in Henderson have it good. I only had time to ride mile marker 22 to 11 and back, but what a nice route. I had originally planned to ride the main lake road from gate to gate, but decided to check out the path. Going to head back some weekend soon before it gets much hotter and ride the loop. Champion 5807   Henderson NV | Subject: RE: River Mountains Trail - Lake Mead / Henderson Start just outside Lake Las Vegas and go to Alan Bible Vistor center is a 34 mile ride. A bit on the hilly side, but pretty nice ride. It is just a couple miles from my house. |

I haven't looked up completion time. I know if you go from gravel to Alan Bible it is about 50 miles. |

Expert 653 Henderson, NV | Subject: RE: River Mountains Trail - Lake Mead / Henderson I rode late, finishing at noon. Couldn't be helped, and it was hot! I did the full loop and hardly saw anyone. I came from BC to Railroad Pass on the highway and caught the trail in the parking lot. That is when I saw it was open. I was looking forward to it being open because now I can ride both directions. I hate crossing that highway. How often do you run/bike out there? I am on the trail 2-3 times a week. |
