Dirty spokes 10 k Sun anyone?

Hmmm this one is on my radar.  I am going to the Braves game later that day so it would be nice to work out before I start pounding ball park food!

Any info on it?  Is it a 10k run and how much is entry?

Is there day of registration?  I'd thought about doing it, but a fellow might be pulling a string or two for me on something else and I have to see if that happens or not.

Website shows there IS race day registration, but it's $40...yikes.  Dirty Spokes puts on some awesome trail races but I am not sure I can justify dropping $40 for a race that is half on the SCT.  I may just meet up with Justin at the start of this race and go the other way for 6.2 miles on the SCT and tell Justin it is an alternate route that costs $20 and see if he pays. 

I doubt I will do it but I wil reiterate that Dirty Spokes puts on some very cool Trail races (Thrill in the Hills Half Mary, Running the Rocks 10K, Deep South 15K)...done them all...very well organized and lots of fun.

Is anybody still doin this?  I'll be there, probably moving at a turtle pace since Indian Springs did awful things to my legs today.  Plus I have this badass new red running singlet I need to show off =)

It's 8:10 and I'm not there yet, so I reckon not.

Seems like everyone had a good time. Some fast racers out there have to check but I think under 40 mins for the winners. I had a good time working race day reg this morning.
