Looking for a good place to get fitted for shoes. This will be my and my BFF's first fitting. I will be in Reading, MA this weekend and would like someplace close-ish to there. I'm currently looking at Greater Boston Running Company (which I like because they have a treadmill) and New England Running Company. Anyone have dealings with these two, or can suggest another possibility?

Marathon Sports is really good.  They have a bunch of locations and a ton of shoes.  Good luck.

I did mention Greater Boston Running Company in a previous post but if you are in the Central MA are PR Running is good too.
I've tried a lot of places and my preference is Greater Boston Running Company. The owner is a big runner and was in this months Competitor Magazine.

Another vote for Marathon Sports - I've had really good luck there. It tends to get busy on the weekends, but they will always get to you eventually!

Runner's Edge in Melrose, MA

Marx Running - Lowell, MA.  I think they close in the summer and only do business in their Acton store.

I've had a few good experiences with PR Running in Westboro.

Thanks for the suggestions. TriMDC - I meant to respond on the other post but got distracted (I blame COJ...) - thanks for the reply!

Looks like they are all about equal, so will just have to see how the plans for the weekend turn out. Thanks again!
