Subject: Bikesport Sylvania tri
Just signed up for the oly distance race today. Anyone else doing this race?? Its sunday Aug 9th in sylvania ohio.

My bride (Twohearted) and I will be there along with TrishM.  I'm in for the Oly and the girls are doing the sprint, then we'll have a brewski afterwards, or at least I hope since I read something about it in last years race reports.  It's really the only reason I'll be there

I'll be there for the Olympic.  If it's not windy this is definitely a course you can PR on.   Elite Endeavors does a great job with this one.   I am not a big fan of American Lagers (I think it was Coors last year), but that post race beer goes down pretty darn good.

Went down today and rode the sprint course and run, drove most of the Oly run.  Roads seemed pretty nice for the most part, hopefully we'll be able to ride in the lane as some of the areas with the bike lane or shoulder had a lot of rocks and small debris.  Thankfully the four of us managed to stay free of flats.

It was breezy today and that could slow you down for certain otherwise this course looks to be fast!

Yea i heard its a very flat fast course. This is going to be my first olympic race i'll have to pass on the brewski's im still too young Frown lol.

So i just realized that there is no timing chip in my packet i got. Do we get them tomorrow or did i just get the lucky bag without one???

If its like the women's only 2 weeks ago in Sylvania, they have you pick it up in the morning.  Expect a long line.
