I might give it a shot sometime this summer, but last night was hockey night.

If anyone hasn't seen this yet, it (appears to be) a weekly aquathlon: http://www.sherifraser.net/splash.htm .  Sounds like some good OWS practice and a good way to spend a Wednesday evening.

Edit: That's pretty far from K-W

Hey, that sounds fun! Might try to do it once this summer. A long way to go on a weekday, but we'll see if I can fit it in.

Dude, I'm in Elmira.  This is less than an hour's drive for me! I'm gonna try it at least once this summer.  The to the poster of this!  It's something a little different to brush up but not feel totally under the gun!

I work in London and live in Woodstock, so every night I'll driving home right by there.  Hopefully I will make it out sometime this summer.  I have some friends that are coached by Sheri for IMC this year and they are trying to convince me to go out.

I like that the swim is so long and the run is short - means I might actually do WELL!

A friend and I will be making the trek from K-W on June 29th.  I think I'll have one extra spot in the car if anyone else in the area wants to come.

We made it out last night and it was fun.  It was a long drive from K-W (1h 10m door-to-door from the Tatham Centre at UW) so we won't be there every week, but I might come again once in the summer.

Some details:

There were ~25 people, mixed about 50/50 between doing one loop for the swim and two.  The water was very nice, the competition was pretty quick, and Sheri did a very good job of getting everybody's splits.  If I lived in and around London/Woodstock, I'd be all over this every Wednesday.
