Does anyone know which part of Los Cabos will be the most convenient for the race? San Jose or Cabo san Lucas? Never been here and I'm JACKED!!!

I'd sure like to know more info on the race before pulling the trigger. I just completed IMTX and murmured something to my wife about IM Wisconsin next year to which she replied - 'can't we go somewhere more exotic?' ..... Los Cabos looks beautiful, I just need more info.

The course description is up and it sounds like rolling bike course. Also, it sounds like all the action will be in San Jose del Cabo which is the northern part of los Cabos. Can't wait!

Dang - we have a friend with a beautiful home in San Jose...I may have to sign up for this one! I don't like that it falls during the Spring Break time, though; it will make air travel a potential nightmare, not to mention hotel availability for many athletes.

It is beautiful there. The water can be very strong (current), so you need to be comfortable with your swim, unless they put it in a protected area. But, the scenery will be worth the travel.

Found it. Bit of a bummer its a "request" group... and that you can't just like it. Maybe I'll be granted admittance.

I'm not racing 2013, I have another priority around the same time, but I'm planning on it for 2014.

I live on mainland Mexico across from Baja though. It'll be interesting to see what information I can glean for next year... or contribute with me being in the water nearly every day right across the way.

Surprised there's not more chatter on BT about this race though. I'd much rather race Cabo than all the humidity-fests (that just means misery in my book) around the USA in a year.
