Hey All,

Its great to find sites like this that can add to your experience!

I've been a runner for a while, but just bought a road bike a few months ago and I'm HOOKED!! This is certainly no surprise given that I now live in every biker's paradise.

I was looking for something BIG to commit to this summer, so I've started training for the Big Kahuna Half Ironman in Sept. Its quite a jump for me, but I'm up for the challenge.

Are there any Toronto triathletes out there? I know there must be tons from the bay area!!!

Nope....I live in cali now, so I'm doing my training and race here.

I wonder how ontarioans train during the winter season though??? I'm spoiled with year round good weather here.

Must be nice.

 I manage to ride most of the year when the roads are totally snow covered. Sometimes I have to stop and shake the layer of ice off my windbreaker and helmet!  It builds good character though.

 Must be nice being able to train all year. I can' even imagine.

Dude...you're hard core! I wouldn't even run outside in the winter for fear of slipping on ice and breaking a leg or something.
