New multisport team in Tidewater/Hampton Roads

I know you Va Beach guys have a great tri community. Williamsburg seems so close, but really too far to join you. That's OK,....Rock On!!!!

You're not too far.  I understand that you won't be able to join us on a regular basis for training but we're planning to have a tent set up at most of the local races for folks to meet and hang out, drink some beers after, socialize.  We've got some corporate sponsors lined up so members will also get additional benefits.  I'm the chair of the training/racing committee and I'm planning to organize a few clinics that you might be interested in.  So even if you only make it down a couple times a month I think it would still be worth it.  Dues are cheap too

Have you given any consideration to having a Penisula coordinator? That might increase penisula club training opportunities. It probably would not help club meeting/event logistics though.

Wait a minute! I'm just the idea guy, not the implementation guy. That sounds a lot like work!

A pennisula club, that would be great!  I know two of us, one from Yorktown and one from Williamsburg who would be interested (not as coordinators though )

I might be willing to be a coordinator-- there's been talk about starting a club, but it would be so much easier to just add on to an already existing club, really....
