Subject: First brick workoutHoly smoke, had my first brick yesterday. A 45 minute cycle followed by a 35 minute walk/jog (or as Michael puts it "slog" :- ) ) . That first 10 minutes off the bike and into the slog were brutal. I loosened up at the end and wanted to keep slogging but had to get cleaned up to go to church. Bummer, would have liked to have seen how long I could go. How often do you guys do brick workouts?
On a side note, I was working at the Awana program with the kids last night and got to talking to one of the dads. He's a fellow man of significant girth and he wants to be my training buddy and run a tri with me in September. Having a training pal is going to be cool. |
