My first marathon.....my friend and I decided to do the Cellcom on bus ride home from a XC meet. I was serious, friend wasn't so most long runs were done solo...just the mp3 & myself. Delayed due to lightening. My mom tried to talk me into doing the half instead during the delay, I was like thanks for having confidence in me! Cold and rainy, temp was 47 when finished. Shoes soaked before race started. Wasn't trying to break any records, so I had a pretty comfortable first marathon:)
