Hi folks

I need some feedback here on the thread.  It seems as though we have lost quite a bit of steam and I'm wondering if you would like me to keep starting a new one every week.  I don't mind at all, but also don't want to keep starting a thread if the interest isn't there.

I know we have lots of folks that pop in and out, some that post and some that don't.

Let me know your thoughts on continuing.

B

I'd really like to see a Weight Watchers "Tri'ing For Weightloss" thread. I think some of the other threads are "slow" right now, too. My mentor group seems a little sluggish as well.

Weight: 146 lbs.
Body Fat: 32.3% Yuck!

I've been a lot better at getting my training in over the past 5 days. First event of year coming up: Cooper River Bridge Run 10K on April 5. Goal: Beat my last year's time of 1:12. Maybe better focus some on running this month. Have a good day!

Oh no! I just started back yesterday. Don't go away now Beth! I haven't been consistent anywhere in my life lately but am trying to get my act together starting yesterday. My WI was up...not as high as I thought it would be, but I'm back to 256

One more thing. I went to add my info into the spreadsheet but it only goes through March. Can someone let me know how to continue it on, so I can help, since I think I'm the only one who weighs in on Sunday?

Well, I've been a total WW slacker for several weeks now, too. I'm getting myself back on track TODAY! I'd rather not say what number I saw on the scale this morning.

I've got a couple of 5k events coming up soon that I would love to shed a few pounds before I have to do them. I'm volunteering at the Ironman California on March 29. The following week on April 6, I'm signed up for the Carlsbad 5000. The following week on April 13, I'm signed up for the Knott's Berry Farm Coaster Run 5k. The following weekend, I'll be ready to collapse from sheer exhaustion most likely.

I'll be back to some form of a bunny avatar next month. Right now, I'm just trying to do my part to cheer on the Tennessee men's and women's b-ball teams for March Madness. The men's team lost our #1 ranking this week, but everyone is still saying they should be a #1 seed in the NCAA tourney. Our women are currently #3 in the country. It's been a gooooood year for Tennessee basketball.

GO VOLS!!!

I just had a tasty new (to me) breakfast! I picked up a loaf of the Pepperidge Farm Raisin Swirl bread last night at the grocery store (on sale and I had a coupon - woo hoo!). It works out to 3 points for 2 slices. I popped 2 pieces in the toaster and then sprayed it with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray. It was soooo tasty.

Admittedly, I can make my own cinnamon toast for less points using the reduced calorie bread. This was a really nice change of pace though having some "real" bread. It also made having cinnamon toast a lot quicker since all I had to do was pop it in the toaster for a couple of minutes.

I'm back this week! I missed my last two WI's. One was I was out of town and the other fell on a day where an issue with my daughter came up. Unfortunately both weeks I was never able to make it to another meeting. I went last night, and I'm up two pounds to 287. Dang! I need to knuckle down and do a better job. So, I'm in and I'm serious. After a DFL at Ironbruin this weekend because of trying to haul my ample rear up those crazy hills, I realize I need to lose more than ever!

Bunny, thanks for the cinnamon toast suggestion! Sounds yummy!

Hi Jocelyn, it's so nice to see you again, too!

Melissa, sometimes we just need to do something a different way, even if the end result could be the same. I love cinnamon toast!

This is so awesome seeing all of us getting refocused again! Hopefully we can all get back in the habit of posting in our weekly thread that Beth so graciously starts for us and we can help keep each other accountable.

I actually haven't been to a meeting in several weeks. I really let myself get off track when I was on vacation (yes, I apparently ATE my way through Tennessee ) and then just kept up the bad eating habits after I got back home.

I did weigh myself at home yesterday morning to get a reference point, and was SHOCKED to see 271. Sadly, that's actually 6 pounds heavier than I was when I joined WW back in October. Since I've been gone from meetings for so long, I'll most likely have to rejoin when I go to a meeting this weekend. So, I guess I'll be using 271 as my restart weight.

Back to revisit the cinnamon toast one more time, I think the next time I'll sprinkle on a little Splenda with the ICBINB spray. My Gran always made her cinnamon toast with sugar and that will give it that sweet taste I grew up loving without all the calories of sugar.

Melissa, I didn't go to meetings for 6 weeks but because I was still paying monthly (duh!) I was still a member and didn't have to re-join. Aren't you also a monthly member?

I'm going to look into it here in PA and see if I can get in on the WW at work, it started a few weeks ago, but maybe they will still let me me join

I totally lost focus during my interview, job offer, resignation, starting new job half way across the country - LOL

gee, I wonder why

Terri - Yes, I'm a monthly member. I know in the past the meeting I attend would purge anyone who hadn't attended a meeting in 4 weeks. We meet at a church, so they don't hang on to the books as long as they do in a center sometimes.

I also wanted to a blog that I found out about today. It's just made up of WW recipes. Here's the link:

Great Link Melissa!

Well, I'm headed back to Omaha early this week on account of not feeling well.  I've been pretty down and out and my boss suggested I head home early - what a guy!

he also brought me groceries, how nice is that!

That was kind of the point I was at when I finally weighed myself earlier this week, Beth. I knew I was up several pounds as I could feel it in my clothes and jewelry. I finally decided it was time to get on the scale because just hiding my head in the sand wasn't going to change the number on the scale.

I hope you start feeling better. Enjoy the trip to Omaha!

How is everyone doing heading into the weekend? I have my WW meeting in the morning. By my scale at home, I've got a good loss for the week so far. Today will be day 5 for my 50 day no cheat challenge. I'll 10% done already!!

Melissa, I love your animated smileys!  They're so cute!

I'm now down 3.6 this week after being up 2.5 last week.   I've been on this trend for the last three months of gain 2+, lose 2-3+.  If I go back to the beginning of November, I'm down 3.2.  My leader challenged me to lose 1.2 lbs. in the next two weeks, which will make 40.  Hopefully, I won't let her down!

I start doing my Oly training on Sunday.  Hopefully, that will help the losses stick around and not be outweighed by gains!  Have a great weekend, everyone.  Come on SPRING!

I think we need another challenge for our group. I'm having trouble remembering to journal! I'm watching points and sort of tracking them in my head!!

I'm looking forward to the weekend. I have a lot of little things to do which will suck up and 1/2 of the time, but I'm expecting a good chunk of downtime on Sunday afternoon. As to to the scale, who knows. I know that I have been to the gym 3x this week and am planning on going Sat and Sun morning. My WI is Sun a.m.
