Run went well.

Wandered around looking for our other friends who were at the race.


I beat my goal time of 50:00. I went as fast as I could have currently and am very happy with the run. Also, it was a good time with the gang (Jaime, Steve and Geralyn).

Side note: Geralyn informed me as the race started that she was going to run with me in the beginning since she did not want to go out too fast. :) She denies that she was hinting that I am slower than her...For the record, she did end up beating me by about 10 seconds but I definitely ran faster than I would have if she had not been there and if she had not said that. Oddly enough, we had the same goal time so both us were very happy with the run. (Thanks Geralyn for the extra motivation.)

Mike, nice training log comments. Ha ha glad to be of motivational
service. Just to clarify, though, it's not my fault you always talk about
how your legs hurt, blah blah blah. Thus, I figured you were going to take
it easy so I was going to take it easy w/you for the first half of the
race. Don't worry, I'll beat you by more than 10 seconds next time. Wow,
how's that for motivation for you on our next run!
