newlines in private notes?

Anyway to get the log to accept a newline in the private notes, in your log?  I've tried <br>, <p>, and \n (shot in the dark.  )

Not a huge issue, but today I wanted to enter a swim wo in there, and without newlines, just is kind of tough to read.
