Here is my current training regimen for a Sprint Triathlon:
Run--2x week--10mi total
Swim--2x week--2000m total
Bike--1x week--20mi total
Question: How many days and what kind of workouts and to what I extent would I incorporate lifting weights, etc into a 5 days/ week training schedule???
He'd do better if he defined his strength training goals first. The question is too general to come up with truly effective advice. Is it increased speed in a swim, run, or bike? Is it just more mass to look a little bigger? Is it to fight off dogs on his practice route?
