JeepFleeb - 2008-05-06 9:56 AM Start practicing. It's a loooong run from the swim exit to transition so try to get most of it done on the move.
Any advantage to removing the wetsuit near the swim exit, then running with it to T1? Easier to remove with wetter legs? Brian
Per my coach... remove it right when you get out of the water. Step off to the side and get it off ASAP.
As you may notice, when you exit the water in a wetsuit, the layer of water is still there between you and the wetsuit.
Once you start to walk... or run... up to transition all of that drains out... making it harder to remove.
So get it off right after you exit the water, out of the way of people exiting.
Good luck on the race!
