Found a casette from high school this morning.  Try this one on:

What used to take 2 hours, now takes all day.

Took me 15 hours to get to LA.

Title?  Artiste?

Absolutely a solo effort. I believe on the 3 lock box album. Although VH does it in concert along with another Hager solo song when he is singing with the band.

It's off of VOA (Voice of America). I almost cried the day that my cassette warped and it would no longer play

See if this one is more difficult:

Yellow manic custard, dripping from a dead dog's eye.

Very popular band, well know song. (Classic rock of course)

Another pretty well known classic ...

At the party she was kindness in the hard crowd
Consolation for the old wound now forgotten
Yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes
She's just dressing, goodbye windows, tired starlings

That one is Cream...In the white room with black curtains, near the station...OK, here's an embarrasing one to admit you know (if you do):"I know you don't really know me. I know you don't really care to see me..."

What about:

"I've got a bike, you can ride it if you like
It's got a basket, a bell that rings and things to make it look good."

And also a full Ultegra group....

Coo-coo Kachoo.

Jim Carrey actually did a version of "I am the Walrus" on a tribute album that was surprisingly good. I might even go as far as to say excellent.
