I was wondering why my location doesn't show up in my posts. Also what does the purple star mean? I am computer illiterate so please bear with me.

The location displayed is from the field labeled "Location" in your Control Panel.  The Address/City/State fields are used for things like the Race Nexus and Route Tracker.
