Well, I did the Eastlink challenge 65K cycle a weekish ago, and the RunMelbourne 5Km run last weekend.  Got the OlympicDream 10K run on 27th July coming up.

Saw the results from the RunMelbourne today - looks like if I want to finish in about 50% place, I'd need to do 10Kms in about 54:00.  So I guess that's a good target to aim for when training.

Gotta find some way to make swimming training more interesting.  I hate repetitive activities, and at least with running and cycling I can choose different routes each time.  With swimming I'm starting to dread the "blowing bubbles underwater looking at the black stripe" routine.

Hi Doug,

I did the Eastlink ride also. It was an absolute debacle for me. I ended up leaving early cos I got caught up with the 30km family fun ride and it became way to dangerous. I was having a great time until then.

You could try finding some swim workouts on this site or www.swimplan.com . It's free to register.

Enjoy your training

Tammie
