Subject: Ramping up Well, I did the Eastlink challenge 65K cycle a weekish ago, and the RunMelbourne 5Km run last weekend. Got the OlympicDream 10K run on 27th July coming up. Saw the results from the RunMelbourne today - looks like if I want to finish in about 50% place, I'd need to do 10Kms in about 54:00. So I guess that's a good target to aim for when training. Gotta find some way to make swimming training more interesting. I hate repetitive activities, and at least with running and cycling I can choose different routes each time. With swimming I'm starting to dread the "blowing bubbles underwater looking at the black stripe" routine.
