Hello,

I'm just starting in the fun. I come from a background of swimming with a rather long hiatus for medical school and residency training. I've got my first sprint triathlon in just a little over 5 months. I hope I survive.

I'm also a newbie from KY. I come from a running background however, and the swim part will be the part that sinks me. No pun intended.

Hello Kevin,

I live in Bowling Green and have doing tri's for the last 5 years. There is a race in Owensboro that they started two years ago that is pretty good. Not real easy but it is shortish. What races are you planning on? Let me know if you have any questions.

I was considering racing in the YMCA Lakewood Valley Triathlon (6/11). It will be my second triathlon (I hope). I'm not exactly sure how I was going to work my training sessions so I might not make it to that one. I guess I just need to figure out a training session beyond the first triathlon. Anyway, hope to see you there (or at any triathlon).
