Subject: Games of Acadiana 2008
Has everyone heard that the race moved back a week?  I guess all the times will stay the same.  Anyone eles doing this race?

Website said the 18th, which is a Monday, and the active link doesn't work. Guess they still have to sort things out...

This was the first triathlon I did, back in 2004.

It properly calls itself a "mini-triathlon," with a 200-yd. pool swim, a 10-mile bike that's really 8.5 miles, and a 2-mile run that's o nly 1.75. Great, small, well-run event, limits itself to 180 competitors, and gets everyone from the area's elite to kid's doing their first tri on BMX bikes.

It's also a part of the Games of Acadiana, which is a day-long event of various sporting events and games that benefits one of our local cancer-support nonprofits. Good race, great cause.
