Subject: Post Turtle

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old Texas rancher, whose hand was
caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the
old man.  Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be our President.
The old rancher said, 'Well, ya know, Obama is a post turtle'.  Not being familiar
with the term, the doctor asked him what a 'post turtle' was. The old rancher said,
'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a
turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post  turtle'.
The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to
explain.  'You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there,
he doesn't know what to do while he is up there, and you just wonder what kind of a
dumba## put him up there in the first place.'

Yes I directed this at Obama but I think it is funny, put the name of you choice in I could have used Mc Cain and it would apply just as well.  Think about it

GWB works GREAT....

a quick search of the internets shows that this was about GWB at least as far back as 2004 (and probably many others born into wealth as sons of congressmen, grandsons of senators, who later attended the most prestigious elite northeastern prep schools and traded on their name to become gentleman's C students at ivy league colleges, etc etc).

true, it would also apply to john mccain, son of a navy admiral, who graduated 5th from the bottom of his class and later married a wealthy heiress worth hundreds of millions who bankrolled his congressional campaigns.

the fact that this joke is being used for the first african-american candidate for president of the US whose personal background couldn't be further from GWB's reaches a whole new level of irony.

Boy I hope someday people can judge me on who I'm related to, where I went to school and what my grades were.
