I have to get permission from coach...but if he says yes...I'm in.  Not sure if I'll do the Oly or the sprint.

Yeah, that's it.  There is the sprint in June, Xterra in July, and this one in late Aug/early Sept...that's it....

Colorado has a lot of races though and is pretty easy to get to.

Not gonna make it.  Have a long ride the day before so IM training is taking priority.

I plan to be there.  I did this race two years back and it was pretty good.  Not a lot of aid on the bike, but at this distance it is not totally necessary I guess.

Anyone else going to Madison for the Ironman?  This is my first full distance, so any tips about the logistics would be greatly appreciated.

The race was awesome.  The weather was perfect, but maybe on the hot side.  There was plenty of aid available, so I guess they have improved that since my last go at this race two years back.  Also, they had police and firemen helping to guide traffic at the highway crossing.  Big help there!

I will definately do this race next year!

I was also there, hottest day of the year, what were the chances?  It was also very appropriate for the name of the event to contain the word "hills"  I thought my calves were going to explode on both the bike and run, but it was fun and I will also be back next year and compete on the long course instead of the sprint.

Glad to see this is still going. I'm a ham and worked the sweep on this in a van a couple years ago. I live in Sioux Falls now. I'm thinking would be nice to do as my first tri someday.  Oh... BTW: Is there any water left in Angustora?

Ron... When being chased by a bear... You don't have to outrun the bear... You just have to outrun the other guy...
