Even of your shoes fit perfectly when you put them on initially, feet tend to swell and expand after a while on the bike, and it may be that it is putting pressure on your outer toes after being out on the road a while. Also you may want to try a shoe insole like Superfeet or Specialized BG which helps spread the pressure out.
Trying to adjust the cleat position or shimming the cleat may help. Look at your knees and see if your right knee is moving away from the top tube during the pedal stroke. If your knee moves out this puts pressure on the outside of the foot and you either want to conciously keep you knees tucked in or make cleat adjustments to get the knee to move straight up and down. |
