Subject: China's overall dedication to the Olympics

At this point, I feel almost bad for my early take on China and the Olympics.  I don't remember seeing a country work so hard at making their games the best.  Fantastic venues, millions (!?!) of volunteers...

They even went to huge lengths to make sure the closing ceremonies didn't get rained on.  

I would like to thank China for hosting a great Olympic Games.

Rain dispersal rockets - coming to a wedding near you! I can imagine people paying for something like that.
