Subject: RE: iBike wattage meter I've seen a couple of favourable reviews on these with the latest firmware, especially the iBike Aero. The downside is they don't work on the trainer and they require a calibration procedure before every ride. It can't tell if you switch from the drops to the hoods very well either so you have to calibrate it the way you ride and then stick to that position. Power tap (what I use) is wonderful, but you need one for every set of wheels you want to use. Ergomo is currently fighting off bankruptcy so stay far away from them. SRM is the gold standard but expensive. Quarq is a new product that looks promising and is compatible with the Garmin 705 if you have one.
