I'm in!  My second Oly.  You were right about the five loops on the bike.  I believe they tried to take it out through the 3 Sisters but had some problems with the City.  Good Luck!

I'm in for the sprint.  My first tri.

Glad they added the packet pickup on the west side of town Thursday as it's only a couple minutes from my work vs. having to try and spend two hours on Friday trying to get all the way out and back to the race site area.

I'm in for the Sprint. First tri since a HIM a year ago. Does anyone have an accurate footage for climbing on the bike loop?

I don't have any numbers, but it's pretty hilly if it's the same loop as last year.....

Where is the west side packet pick-up?

I'm #173.

Looks like there are 400 people registered.  That should make it pretty crowded on the 5 mile loop bike course.   From the map everyone is going the same route, just 3 vs 5 laps for sprint/olympic.

People in line at the packet pickup said the lake is pretty nasty right now.  Visibility was pretty much 0 and slimy.

Sounds like we'll have a great time!

So what did you think?  Bike was 7.5 miles short, run was a half mile long, the swim was 140 M short.  All in all made for a great OLY time!?!  Cloud cover was nice.  I almost got wiped out on the bike when someone veered left on the big down hill.  I thought I was road rash!  Hope everyone had a great day.  Chet

Gotta be down hill from here!

My first tri and I seem to have won my age group (40-44) in the Sprint category.  I wasn't able to stick around for the awards ceremony, did they give out any AG awards?   I saw they had plaques for the combined times stuff (husband wife, parent/child), but didnt' see anything for AG.

Will post my comments later in the race report, but overall had a great time and glad I found a short course to start with.

Thanks.  I sent an email to Keith @ Sunset and see if it's possible to get it mailed out.   I hung around until around 10:15 watching you Olympic guys roll in but had to go after that.

Anyone have any race photos online?   I guess they didn't have any photographers for the event so nothing from the offical site is posted.  Too bad, I would have sent my wife or friend out with the camera and had them snap photos all day.  Could have had a nice fund towards a new bike!
