Subject: Lake Geneva - Oly - What are the hills like??
I'm doing the Lake Geneva Oly on Saturday. I'll probably drive the course on Friday but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the course is like. Any killer hills? Thanks!

did the HIM a few years ago.  The bike wasnt so bad from what I remember cept for a stretch out about a half mile into it.  The run was another story with the trip up Observatory a nice way to hit redline on the HR.  Not sure if the course is similar, but sure they have that bad boy in there.

Thanks for the response. I've heard about that hill. Hopefully it won't be in the oly distance.

Hello! I have been very fortunate. I live in fontana and have had a chance to run the "killer" hill a few times in the last couple weeks. The coarse is pretty hilly, but nothing too terrible. The "killer" hill they are referring to starts roughly around mile one and ends around mi 1.5. I am doing the sprint (first tri) so it is right in the middle of the run. For the Oly run, it looks like you have to face it in the beginning, and then don't go down it until the last part.

I was thinking I would sign up for the sprint but it's $80!  Funk dat.  At half that I would be in fo sho but I think I'll sit this one out.
