Subject: HIM Races in Texas June - July
I'm currently working on my 2009 tri calendar and looking for a HIM in / near Texas within the June to July time frame. I need to finish a HIM prior to attempting IM Canada in August.

It doesn't have to be 70.3 sponsored race - just something at that distance. Right now the only race I can think of would be Buffalo Springs. No 2009 calendars are available yet either.

Thoughts?

Not in Texas but close is Kansas 70.3 , mid June date. I plan on doing this race.

I believe that the Buffalo Springs Lake Tri (Lubbock) is around this time fram. It is also a qualifer for Clearwater.

Does it have to be June-July? Playtri has their festival with a half in April.
