Subject: Hamstring tendons--biking position

Over the past couple of weeks I've noticed considerably discomfort in my hamstring tendons during and after bike sessions. The pain usually develops around 10 miles in (slight at first), then builds as the ride continues.  Does this sound like a bike position issue?

If the position is relatively new, then it sounds like a position problem. If you have had that position for a long time before this recent problem, I probably wouldn't blame position.

For pain in the back of the leg, you can try moving your saddle forward to open up your hip angle. Or you can lower your seatpost. You should also stretch in order to promote hamstring flexibility.
