Just got the wireless powertap and cannot get the computer to "see" the hub. Anyone have this problem and what did you do to fix it? I've already tried holding mode and select till it reads "find" then give the wheel a spin to wake up the hub, but the computer never finds it. Any help appreciated.

Have you tried following the setup instructions on page 31 of the manual?  Are you pedalling or grabbing the wheel to spin it.  I suggest using the cranks to wake the hub up.

The booklet says you don't need to get the computer to "learn" the hub. You should be able to just wake it up, but that has not worked. Guess I'll give the company a ring.

Hold both of the buttons down until FIND flashes on the screen. release the buttons and make sure you are spinning the wheel or the cranks. It may take a few seconds.

This assumes that they did everything right at the factory and that your installer didn't screw it up when trying to get it to work.  You shouldn't have to do this everytime, but I would suggest if you're having trouble finding a new unit or after changing the battery in the head unit that you confirm you have the right code stored in the head unit.  Redoing the learn sequence is the easiest way to do that.

Upon receipt, my computer was set up to read the hub, but wasn't set up to read HR so I went through the exercise to set up the code for the HR monitor and all worked well.

I installed my computer holder upside down and ejected my computer and trashed it, so had to go through the exercise of setting up the new computer to read the hub. Followed the instructions in the manual and all went well.

Once coded correctly, the steps folks have provided should work fine. Check the code and go from there.

Thanks all. Finally got it accomplished. BIG shout out and thanks to Matty B at TriSports.com. As someone above suggested, I had to go through the learn process since the find process wasn't working. Works like a dream now! Thanks all!
