When I put my time and milage into the training log, the min/mile is not right.  Also, it says something different each time I try to fix it.  Am I crazy?

OK, now it's just changing my time all together.  I ran 2 miles in 21:64.  It's my first sub 11 min mile, so I was very excited to log it.

Carla, when I look at your log from yesterday I see a pace of 10m 53s per mile which is correct for that time and distance.

21m 46s 2.00 miles 10m 53s/Mi

Something to keep in mind is that when you click the 'Calc' button, the value that's first put into the pace box is in minutes, not minutes and seconds. So you'll see 10.88. The minutes and seconds pace is displayed in your log after you save the workout.

Pace is initially displayed in minutes, not minutes and seconds.

Congratulations on the milestone, keep it up!

Carla,

As Mike has pointed out, the pace result is displayed in decimal minutes rather than seconds.

Performing arithmetic on decimal numbers is a little more straight forward than doing so with minutes and seconds.

If you would like to convert the decimal minutes to seconds you simply multiply the non-integer of the minutes by 60.  See example below:

Decimal Minutes

Seconds

0.88

52.8

0.75

45

0.50

30

0.25

15
