Subject: Should I sell my Schwinn IC Pro spinning bike?
I posted this earlier today in the Gear Review & Question forum, but haven't had any action.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

You mention space, if that is an issue then, by all means ... sell it!  However, a spinning bike offers a great workout.  You just have to make a point of using it, if only during the winter months.  Working out on the trainer may feel more enjoyable because you are on your own bike, but a good spin bike workout just seems to be more intense.  Maybe I just feel more motivated because I am in a class and I want to show off or maybe it's because you can't coast on a spin bike ... who knows?  I just know that I usually push myself much more on the spin bike than on the trainer.   If you have the space for it, keep it ... and use it!

Sure - sell it.  You will probably use a trainer more.  Spin bikes are pretty good as far as adjusting them to feel similar to your own bike, but I think the real benefit of spin bikes is the actual class that I go to.  It definitely pushes me harder than I normally would work on my own.

I am all for getting rid of stuff you don't use (sell, donate, whatever)  No reason to clutter your life or your space.
