Just curious if anone belongs and what the ballpark cost is for an individual Valley-wide membership.  Any feedback on the quality of programs and facilities (pros and cons) would also be appreciated.  Thanks!

I am a member - -

You'd have to check cost though -- I was paying for a family membership awhile back, but now we're on a different plan since my wife teaches yoga there.

Pros - - facilities across the family (good for me as my job often takes me across the valley); swim lanes usually aren't crowded (almost the only thing I do there - -I do't use weights), a hot yoga instructor at my Y (my wife), pretty good programs...although I still need to take my first spin class. Also, it's the Y, not Gold's Gym --so the musclehead factor is low.

I like it. Like Fitzy said the muscle head factor is low so the people are more down to earth. I am not sure what you would pay. I am under 30 so I pay for a youngadult membership. It lower than for anyone over 30. I also use it almost ony for the pool. I love the pool it is only crowded at my gym if I get there when the old people are doing the water arobics. They take up three lanes. The people don't treat you bad if you are not the fittest person. I used to belong to Golds but I was one of those Muscle heads back then. And the fact that you can workout at any location in the valley is nice.
