Sprint Duathlon...Tomorrow...1st race in 2 years

Just thought I would pop in with my promise to race the sprint du tomorrow at the Fall Colours in Ottawa.

It is only a 2.5k 19.8k 2.5k, but I have been out of action for a long time....just about 2 years!!!

Put short back injury-rehab-finally resorted to back surgery (laminectomy and discectomy) in March-too soon back to activity put me back-wanted to do a tri about 3 weeks ago but tweaked my back...which brings me to this.

I decided just now to do the sprint tomorrow and to leave me with no excuse not to go I figured I would post it and that way someone can call me out on it later if I wimp out.

My first DU ever, and I have no speed laces so I will tying in transition. I am going to go out and have some fun and treat it more as a decent workout than a race (I have little fitness at this point). Although my lack of fitness due to surgery will allow me to race as a clyde
