He will be busy.

He will have to work twice as much to bring home the same money when admitted Socialist Obama wins and takes all his money to give it to the welfare bums.

Just like everything else on the internet, take this with a grain of salt.  I'm thinking there will be more to come on Joe the Plumber.

Whether he is registered to vote or not, how does that take away from the point that Obama's taxing of people like him is ludicrous?

Yeah, the government should really just be allowed to spend money it doesn't have. I mean, the government's operating at a huge deficit right now and everything's just peachy, right?

No, they shouldnt be spending craploads of money.  But if they are, it's the rich people's responsibility to get screwed more and more?  Good to know.

If he makes say 300,000 instead of 250,000 under Obama's plan (39% vs. 36%) the difference in his taxes is $1500.

36% is okay, but 39% is ludicrous?

Work twice as hard? Please show me where Joe's income tax is going to DOUBLE under anyone's plan.

If you don't pay up front, you'll pay on the back end, when the "welfare bums" as you so compassionately put it show up in emergency rooms with no insurance, crime goes on the rise, prisons fill up, and corporations are paying out unemployment.

It's people like you who make me think that maybe the country would be better off going into a depression and just letting the economy purge itself. At least people would learn a little compassion.

36% isnt either in my opinion, and increasing it isnt better.

Give me one good reason why rich people should pay a higher percentage of taxes.  I'll give you bonus points if it isnt "they are rich and can afford it."

Because a society that can help people out of poverty, thereby decreasing people's dependence on government programs for survival, is ultimately better off than one that grows a lower class?

Well, when republicans do it I believe it's called a progressive income tax.

What do you think Obama wants to increase taxes for?

To fund government programs for people to leech off of.  If you eliminate government programs, people cant leech off them.

It isnt the rich's job to help the lower class.  That's charity, and charity is voluntary.

Let's also not forget that "the Socialist Obama" would expect Joe to provide health care as a benefit to his employees. Oh, the audacity.
