Subject: Can't create a route

Hi, I attempted to launch the "new route " and I get a message that the request has been denied, and it goes on about a API key for another web site? sound familiar to anyone? I just want to launch the map and make a route to save. any help would be appreciated.

Google Maps is very particular about how the domain the request is for.

Make sure that the page you're trying to reach is either

http://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/map.asp

 or

http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/map.asp

When I click the button to create a new route it launches the above browser address but the error message indicated the Google Maps API Key used on this website is registered to a different web site. You can generate a new key for this web site by going to http://code.google.com/apis/maps/.

Any ideas to what the problem is?

I'm confused on the process to aquire a key, I would think it would be seamless since the link is imbedded in the web page?

The key is embedded in the webpage also.  It's specific to the domain and subdomain of the website.

Which of the two browser addresses I listed is being displayed?

 When I click on a make a new route button from the running section under my training log,  the browser attempts to load the page http://wwww.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/map.asp?set=2&autoclose=true

Then, I get the error message box that I quoted above about the Key, when I close the box the page changes to the page where the map should display but the map area doesn't load and the page hangs up. I did manage once to get the map to load once and plotted a route but I did it some other way and I haven't been able to duplicate that again. It's Pretty frustrating.

I think I can take this one...

Your URL has 4 'W's in the name: http://wwww.begin... and I replicated your error.

Make sure when you go to the site and logon that it's the 3 W version and do everything from there:

http://www.beginnertriathlete.com

That should fix it...you may have this bookmarked as 4 W's...where the site seems to work except for places like this.

Geez,

I didn't notice it had 4 w's. Thanks, I feel like a dope.
