Subject: Need a riding partner for the bike

I am looking for someone to ride with occasionally.  I went for a ride today and decided to bag it after about 45 minutes.  I live between Canton and Woodstock.  I haven't ridden in 14 years and am just now getting back into it.  My neighborhood is pretty hilly and kicks my butt pretty hard.  I average about 15-17mph and would like to find someone who's in about the same pace range to ride with.  Also, any group rides you know of nearby that are at my level would be appreciated.

 Thanks in advance!

 Duane

I'd be willing to ride with you. I'm pretty much in the same boat.

i do right about 15-17 right now since i'm still trying to get comfortable.

I do live in Decatur. We could meet up and ride on sundays or something. (I'm planning to ride with the new group next weekend that starts at the new stone mountain tri store)

Outspokin bikes in woodstock does a group ride that breaks into a few groups that would probably fit your ride.

Thanks!  The Stone Mountain group would be quite a hike for me to get there.  The Woodstock group would actually work out much better for me and that's actually where I purchased my bike.  Kevin and the gang there at Outspokin are really nice.  I'll check tomorrow when they do their group rides.

 Thanks again!

Duane -

Check out the Bike Roswell site (www.bikeroswell.com) as they have several routes mapped out (and painted on the road) which might be fun for you to do, even alone.  I do the Roswell routes alone a lot.
