FYI First Athens Bike Swap

Evidently, Athens pro teams are holding a bike sale. Here's the e-mail I got because I'm on the UGA tri team listserv. Looks like some really good deals.


dear friends and enemies:

as you have heard through the grapevine by now, the first annual athens
bike swap is next week, october 25, 2008 from 11am - 2pm.  the swap is
located at tifosi optics headquarters in watkinsville, ga and will feature
the greatest bike equipment from the bestest of the best pro cycling teams
(aaron's, jittery joe's and toshiba-santo), the bestest of the best bike
shops in the world (sunshine, cycle sport and the hub) and the greatest
flurry of manufacturers and bike techno-gadgets around.

if you notice the time and location, this is conveniently 1/2 mile from
the start of the jittery joe's fall classic century and will start by the
time you guys are finished with the ride.

  bring lots o' cash-ola for the deals of a ... i guess first annual
would suggest there is a second annual in 2009, but this will be such a
huge blowout that you won't wanna miss this!
