without the help and encouragement and friendships that have placed those pockets of "whatevr it is" within me, I don't know tht I would have made it.

oh yes!! and AMANDA!! she got 2nd in her age group and she had to rent a bike at the last moment. She is cool too. Solid feeling person,, no games, just is Amanda.

TODD!!! DUDE YOU ROCK!! I looked for you out there but had a limited amount of time before I had to leave the race start! (I ended up working body marking instead of bike support)!! Congrats to you on finishing your first Ironman!! I curtsey to your greatness!!!

Carolyn, my wife and Jennifer were also there doing body marking, and then she announced the swim exit, and then she worked tat one table right after the transition area where we would make the turn out into theneighborhood again.

Thanks to everyonee checking on us!  We all had a great day!!!!  It was fun that the 3 of finished around the same time and could also see each other at the finish.  :-)

Thanks to everyone out there!!! An amazing race and couldn't have asked for better for my first iron-distance. Big shout out to the Cycling HUb out in Clermont, FL who totally pulled together to get me a bike to ride at the last minute! We're still waiting to hear from FedEx about the location of my bike.
Todd and Amy are awesome people. Small world...Todd just so happened to be rght behind me at body marking when he met Amy for the first time.

I had a blast at this race. Can't wait to go back and do this again! The volunteers were amazing! Especially the pizza at mile 23.
