Subject: My 100th PostWell, I planned in making this my 100th post but I couldn't resist helping "sealiongirl" name her bike. Anyway, as my 101st post I would like to extend a big Thank You to the BT community. I have been a member a relatively short time but I have gleaned so much from many of you that have answered my NEWB questions without judgment. I am continually impressed with the caliber of people on this forum as well as the diverse backgrounds that all lead to us sharing our love this sport. So many Internet forums these days seem to filled with their share of elitists and troll who are just there to rip on people whom are seeking answers or at the very least, camaraderie. It's nice to not see a lot of that here and I hope to stay here for as long as I enjoy this sport. You have all helped me change my lifestyle for the better in an effort to be around to hopefully share this sport with my children one day, granted I'll be in 45-49 AG but I'll be there! I also hope to progress enough in this sport so I can one day be a mentor to others looking to undertake the multisport challenge. The support I have witnessed in the past several months has changed my outlook on life as well. When this community came together for Christine "Lucy" I was really moved and again felt proud to be associated with BT. I wore my BT tri top for my 1st tri with that pride and hoped someone would come up to me and say, "Hey, I'm on BT too." I can't wait to share my triumphs, failures, and everything that comes with the most challenging undertaking I have ever embarked upon. Anyway, thanks -Chris |
