XMAS Charity help needed asap!!

(I cross posted this in California forum, hope this is OK, if not, Ron/Marma go ahead and pull it......)

My friend Cat (she's a triathlete too) works for a non-profit - Connections for Children -  that provides day care for underprivileged families.  Every year they have a little XMAS party for the kids where she gives away toys to kids that might not otherwise get anything under the tree.  Toys for Tots has always been a huge contributor, and were supposed to donate something like 200 toys this year........

This year, TfT just called her 1/2 hour befoe they were supposed to deliver to let her know that they don't have any toys to donate this year... I guess it's tough everyewhere.  But she's got over 300 kids coming next Wednesday, hoping to get a toy.  She's got to find 300+ toys in the next 6 days.....

If you have any toys, or can get one, new, unwrapped, unused, etc etc...   or can donate any money, contact me and I'll tell you how to get in touch.   This is the org's website. Connections For Children (http://www.cfc-ca.org/). All donations are tax deductible.

Again, apologies to the board and ron/marma if this is inappropriate, but she'd understandably in a bit of a pickle.   She's a triathlete, has done IMLP, gone to Du worlds, is doing SOS next year.  For those that know me and read my April report, she was the one that comforted me in medical after my DNF.......  and then drove out again in April just to watch me finish
