Subject: Garmin data upload

I was very lucky and got a Garmin 305 for my birthday.

When I try to upload my workouts this is what happens:

BT locates my device

When it finishes uploading it states that there are no workouts for the stated date. There are-I see them in my history.

I searched this site and as per another post I changed my date and time in my control panel.

The workouts can be uploaded to the previous day (in this case the 28th) but it does say in the "1 workout has been detected" message that the date of the work out is the 29th. I just can't get it to upload on the right day.

Hi Tam,

Sorry for the hassle, I thought all international dateline issues were corrected by our last update.

I do want to make sure I understand what's going on. Can you confirm for me that in the example above, the workout you want to upload was recorded on the device on the 29th?

Tam,

One thing that may not be explicitly stated anywhere is that you must RESET the Garmin after a workout for that workout to be "completed" and available for upload. I got my Garmin for Christmas and I'm loving it.

Yes Mike, the data is recorded on my device for the 29th. I have other workouts on my device and it appears to be the same for all of them-I just used this one for an example.

I have also reset the device. I have uploaded to the Garmin training centre and Motion based with no hassles.

I hope this is not too much of a problem for you.  I do love living in Australia and don't really want to move to the other side of the date line, LOL. Thanks for your quick response.
