Subject: Triathlon bike fitter in Quebec?

I am looking for a good bike fitter, does anyone knows one somewhere in Quebec or Montreal?

If not where did you guys get your bike fit?

Thank you in advance

I had mine fitted at Peak Centre de Haute Performance about a month ago

Pierre did a great job and even offered to fit the one I am currently shopping for free once I get it.

I was thinking about driving to Montreal and get a fit from them but I never had the chance to talk with someone who had a bike fit by them.

Are they expensive? Ho long did it took him to fit you on your bike? Was it a tri bike or a road one?

Thank you in advance

I think 100$ isn't overpaid at all for their service. I'd say I was there for about an hour total (adjusting the bike, doing a spinscan on a computrainer and talking about various related stuff) and the fitting was on a road bike. I'll go back when I get the tri bike.

If this can mean anything to you, I think they sponsor and/or do business with Andrew Tanner... he is pretty much the guy to beat around here. That's what had me chose them over the Académie cycliste du Québec which is more focused toward road bikes.

The fitter, Pierre, used to build custom frames for racers in Europe. I was shopping for the tri bike last week-end, the guy kind of trying to talk me into a 58cm instead of a 56... told him about Pierre... "ok for a 56 then" . All that to say, the guy has a reputation.

I know... I'm from Quebec city but live in Montreal. The choice is indeed very limited, but worst, from the little I have seen lately, the shops are just not there in terms of pricing... I mean, 500$ more expansive in Quebec city for the exact same Cervelo P2C, and that's without even negotiating.
