Subject: Overall Comments
I'd like to combine a beginner swim plan with a 1/2 mary plan and would like to see comments for both re: what the actual workout is rather than just time.  Right now it looks like I can only choose run or swim comments as overall comments.  Is that something you can do in the future: keep run comments w/ run workout, etc., rather than just have overall comments?

The swim and run 'details' are separate from the overall comments.  So the actual workouts will still be there when you merge them.

What the overall comments are are just a re-hash of swim, bike or run definitions which can all be found here:

So not using or importing the 'overall comments' shouldn't be deterimental to your plan, if something needs defined, go to the above link.

I re-imported the swim data from the plan I want.  There were no swim details included re: the workout other than time.

If I import training plan and notes from a beginner 1/2 IM plan that I only want the swim from so I can have the swim details, it overwrites my run notes from the 1/2 mary plan I'm doing.  I'm wondering if run notes can be included in run data, swim notes w/ swim data, etc.

Unless there's a swim only plan?  That would solve the problem.

Wait, you said "merge" -- maybe that's what I forgot....

For example, in that Half Mary plan:

Pretty Running - lean forward, roll off your big toes, keep hand above your waist, look about 6 feet in front of you with your eyes, drive your elbows back and never cross your midline with your hands.

Run on a flat course or treadmill. Keep HR in Zone 1-2. Think about form and running pretty. Stretch when done and add in Core 1, 2 or 3.

WHICH PART IS IT OVERWRITING?  IT WILL PROBABLY OVERIGHT THE 'PRETTY RUNNING' PART WHICH IS HOW THIS WORKS.  BUT SINCE THAT IS PART OF THE DEFINITIONS, IT CAN BE DEFINED EASILY.

AND ALSO, WHICH EXACT PLAN DID YOU WAN SWIM DATA THAT HAD NO DETAILS?

I just now discovered Blog - Planned and see all the notes written on each day for me on  my current plans.  I saw your post somewhere else, Ron, re: combining HIM and marathon plans and it worked great.  Thanks!  I think I was just looking in the wrong place before at details.  Moved run & swim only to another day and the workouts went with them.
