Subject: Is there a way to combine plans?
I just finished my 16week olympic 3X plan with the MIT race as its conclusion.
I now want to start either the intermediate oly plan or beginner HIM plan, but also have realized i love to run and therefore was thinking bout adding in the marathon training plan, so basically mixing the plans together..Is there a way to do this on the site? I cn do it in a spreadsheet but i would rather have it on here.
Thanks!

ETA: can't type

Yes, when you 'Import' your plan, you have the option of what sports to import.

So you would import the marathon plan, then when you import a oly or HIM plan, UNSELECT the 'run' part and the 'strength' part (best to keep the strength training for the marathon plan though you could do it the other way around.).

i added the marathon first, then i added the 10-week intermediate olympic HR plan over that, unchecking the Strength and Run portions, but i left the last box checked, which said it would over-write any other plan information that was already there. was that correct?
I just want to ensure when my 10 week oly plan ends, the marathon plan will still be in there for me to add another plan on top off... and that the marathon plan is accounting for all my running on this current plan.
Thanks!

It will be fine if you left the last check box 'assign this as your active plan' unchecked for when you import the oly plan last. That part only gives relevant popup links to the 'active' plan - it doesn't modify the plan.

Regarding the 'overwriting', it will do this only if your are importing a run into a day already having a run...so it won't be an issue.

I can verify when you are done, just let me know the dates and what you did.
