Subject: Non Tri Related - Dell Mini 9 For Sale Purchased a Dell Mini 9 a few weeks back. Thought it would make a great coffee table web netbook. It is. Problem is that my hands are too large for the keyboard (I'm a big guy). Also the wife hates Ubuntu (she's a die hard XP gal). And the whole point was to get something she would use. So I'm selling it for what I paid for it... It's brand new from the refurb outlet. Still under warranty. Comes all original DVDs plus AC adapter. It does NOT have a DVD drive. You have to use an external or do what a lot of people do and buy a 32-64GB SD card and use that as a portable "external" drive. It came running Dell's flavor of Ubuntu. I upgraded it ot the full version of Ubuntu 8.10 and also added 2GB of RAM to it. I'll even throw in the original 1GB of RAM. If you choose you can load XP on it or reload the original OS (but the original OS only supports 1GB RAM) Intel® AtomTM Processor (1.6GHz, 512KB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB) 2GB 533MHz DDR2 SDRAM. Intel® Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 950 Glossy 8.9 inch backlit LED display (1024X600) One external speaker 4GB configured with a Solid State drive Paid $215 for the laptop and $35 for the RAM.... so asking $250 + shipping...(dollar for scale and not included wiseguys...) Post or PM with questions....
